First topic of choice: MEN AND LAUNDRY.
Bless their hearts. Men should never do laundry. At least not our husbands. They try, and they are so sweet, but yesterday I (Marina) discovered that I should probably be the main launderer in the relationship. Jake put a load of whites in. And when I say load, I mean probably every white thing we own all together and I don't even know how it all fit in one load. Anyways, he had washed everything and moved it over to the dryer, when the buzzer went off I went into the laundry room to take it all out. The second I opened the dryer I was attacked with the WORST SMELL EVER. Wafted right in my face. I can't even describe the smell, it was like maybe a mix of sweaty man and...rot. Just rot. Was there a dead animal in the dryer? Not sure.. I took out the  five hundred articles of whites and what made the smell even worse was that everything was hot from the dryer. Hot stink is the worst. Also, the dirt filth from some of Jake's clothes had transferred onto my freshly washed whites. I'll tell you right now, I have no idea what he does in his clothes. I immediately called for Courtney to come upstairs and smell and examine these clothes. Turns out, MEN JUST STINK SOMETIMES. And I am pretty sure man sweat is just made out of different stuff than women. Since her and Brenden have been married for almost two years, she already figured this out a long time ago. Jake and I just hit our two month anniversary yesterday and I am still trying to figure out how to take care of a full grown man. It's not easy, ladies. Feeding them, bathing them, doing their laundry, cleaning up the wet puddle of water he leaves after every shower. And bless his heart, flushing the toilet every morning  because he didn't wanna wake me up in the middle of the night with the loud flush.... DON'T GET ME WRONG. I'm not saying he's disgusting by any means, he's really not. He's not a pig or lazy. He's just a man. And men are kind of hard to take care of sometimes. Especially when you're only used to taking care of yourself. I love taking care of my sweet hubby, and I'm learning from Courtney how to do an even better job at doing so. Cause she's the best housewife ever, seriously guys. Sometimes I just sit there in disgust not knowing how exactly to 'clean up that mess' or 'get that stain out' or 'how did that even happen?' and 'what IS that??' Those are common thoughts going through my mind. But in all honesty, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Second topic of choice: "I married my best friend"
Guys, this isn't just a saying. It's totally true. Going from being single to being married truly increases the friendship aspect of things between you two. You sleep together, eat together, pray together, read together, clean together, shop everything together, EVERYTHING together. It's a little bit of an adjustment at first, but when you're doing all of these things with your best friend- it's awesome. He is the one you trust more than anything, he's always going to be there to talk, listen, and yes, even when you're ranting like a crazy person. He's there. Sometimes living together and being together all the time, you fight. LET'S BE HONEST. Marriage isn't perfect. You get frustrated with each other. But a lot of the time, these fights can actually strengthen your marriage. Nobody just doesn't fight at all. The first time you fight after getting married will probably make you super upset like it did me, (Marina) because you just think NOOO we're not supposed to fight yet!? Married people don't fight. That's probably the biggest lie out there. You will fight, and maybe even fight a lot over little things (hopefully little things, if you're always fighting about big things you may have a problem) Especially the first few months when you're getting used to living with each other and making decisions together. But if you listen and learn to be able to take positive criticism, you're marriage will succeed. Nobody is perfect. Marriages fail because of lack of communication, so make sure you're ALWAYS COMMUNICATING!! Seriously, even if you're steaming mad about something completely stupid, tell him about it. They will appreciate the fact that you trust them enough to always speak your mind. Your husband is your best friend, vent to him always. Place him above anyone or anything else and you are guaranteed to be successful together.
